Q. Does my pet have to be a certain age to board?
A. Puppies and Kittens must be at least 13 weeks old and have had at least 2 sets of shots.
Q. What shots do my pets need?
A. All pets boarded with us need up-to-date shots. For dogs, this includes Rabies, DHLP and Bordetella vaccinations. Cats require Rabies, Feline Leukemia and FVRCP. You must bring in proof of these vaccinations.
Q. What other activities do you offer?
A. We offer may extra activities for your pet while he/she is with us:
Nature Walks - a leash walk in our 1/2 acre fenced in yard.
Playtime - a 20'x 20' outside run that allows the dog to be off leash to play / sniff.
Pool time - For Dogs who love water. Kiddie pools to splash around in.
Happy Hour - Frosty Paws Doggie Ice Cream.
Cuddle Cots - comfortable mesh beds available in different sizes.
Q. Do you board animals besides dogs and cats?
A. Yes. We board many different types of pets including hamsters, guinea pigs, birds, prairie dogs, lizards, etc.
Q. Will my pet pick up fleas at Cobble Hill?
A. It is possible but unlikely. Any pet arriving with fleas / ticks will be bathed and dipped at the owners expense. We adhere to strict cleaning procedures to prevent the spread of pests.
Q. Can my pet be bathed or groomed before I pickup?
A. We offer baths, dips, nail clipping and grooming. Grooming appointments are limited so book early.
Q. What type of food will my pet receive while at Cobble Hill?
A. Dogs are fed easy to digest Iams Mini-Chunks and all meat frozen Bil-Jac dog food. Cats receive Iams Cat food.
Q. Can I bring my own food for my pet?
A. We encourage you to use our quality food but you may bring your own. There is an extra charge for giving your pet a "Special Diet". This is due to the time involved in providing this service.
Q. Do you administer medication?
A. Yes. Just bring the medication(s) with you and give us instructions. There is an extra charge of $1.00/day to give out medications.
Q. How early do I need to make holiday reservations?
A. Over the holidays we do fill up, so please do this as soon as possible. A deposit is required to hold a holiday reservation.
Q. Who owns Cobble Hill Bed and Biscuit?
A. Cobble Hill is owned by Patty and Bill Pace. Both are long animal lovers. Patty and Bill have been professionally in dogs for over 26 years. Patty and Bill and their staff managed the top showdogs in the country at the Cobble Hill facility for up to 3 years to be the top dog of their breed for those years.
All of our boarding guests would look to see these wonderful dogs as they were prepared for shows in our grooming area. Patty and Bill retired from actively prefessionaly handling dogs in 1996 to concentrate on their local costumers. Patty still manages and shows her Golden Retrievers. Bill and Patty were also selected as top breeders and handlers by Pedigree food. Pedigree presented Bill and Patty on a national television commercial in the late 80's.
Q. Can I do an online Check In?
